Mk1 180bhp Supercharger Conversion for Sale (Cheap!) - Engine/Box still great

Post by [SiG] »

Hi all

I have the following Mk1 SC for sale;

http://www.imoc.co.uk/forums/viewtopic. ... highlight=

She's a cracking motor, but unfortunately I've left it to stand too long and need to shift it. I just wish I was more mechanically minded as I'd whip the engine etc out myself!

I last drove it about 15 months ago and she was still as strong as ever, but local garage did a right number on her when I sent it up for a checkup. They managed to fry the loom (possibly ECU, unsure) and lose the key! So I can only sell her for the spares which are still strong, namely the engine/box/uprated suspension.

She's not MOT'd or taxed, and no doubt the calipers have siezed a bit so will need freeing. Also a tyre won't pump up and has locking nuts (can't find the key), but there's a spare I can get repaired for towing purposes.

If someone can make more use of the good parts and fancies giving it a go, then I'm pleased to accept an offer for her. I know it's not going to be a lot! I could just do with it shifting within the week really.

PM/Email me for my number if you're interested, and I can provide more info

thanks
Si

What sort of money roughly are you after for it?

TBH, if someone can get it within the next few days I won't want much for it (say £100). It's better knowing it'll be going to someone who can make proper use of it :)

I can't believe you sold this for £100 mate, utter madness, i'd have given you £1000 for it all day long with the mods it had.

Someone got the bargain of the decade.

Sad i missed this, i'm after a later spec 4agze and would have given you £500 for the engine alone.

I've got a late AE101 DLI spec GZE sat in the garage that I don't really need. It's currently minus ancillaries but I've got everything, loom, ecu, sc, alternator etc etc etc.

I'm moving house soon (somewhere with a barn hopefully) so one less lump to move would be good.
