FSH BRG Rev3 NA

Post by brgbrm »

You know the kind of car that the buyers guides tell you to get, with fsh and well looked after. Well, when I was looking I spent ages looking at adverts and eventually found this one. It's a Rev3 in green, FTSH up to owner 2, and FSH since then. I'm the 3rd owner. I've owned it for about 5 years. It's had the cambelt and the struts replaced within the last 10k miles. It comes with the original Toyota service book, and history about 2" thick. It's completely standard.

I'll put photos and price up at the weekend.

The car's in Brighton btw. I occasionally go to Poole and Bath, via the M27 / Salisbury etc.

This is a rev3 na MR2 in British Racing Green. It's an entirely standard car. Lots of history, including most MOTs, and the original service book in the original Toyota wallet. It has FTSH until I bought it and full garage service history FSH since then. There have been just 2 previous owners.

I've done the following in my approx 5 years of ownership:

within last 10k
------------------
cambelt changed
new OEM dampers all round
new calipers all round

recently
----------
new rear tyres
serviced in November, inluding new 'for-life'
alignment done

It is taxed until February 2012. MOT until November.

It's in Brighton. We sometime travel Poole/Bath way. Price £1699

Whats the mileage on it?

Have you got any pictures of the rest of the car and the interior?

Hi Laney

I'm just looking at the certificate for the first MOT I had done on it in 2006, the mileage then was 95168. I bought it when I lived and worked in Derbyshire. I liked it so much I bought a V6 (since gone), and I used the V6 in Derbyshire, and this one in Sussex and caught the train between the 2. I now work in London and still the car is only used at the weekends, so in the five years I've had it the mileage has only moved up to a bit under 103.

I'll take some more photos tomorrow.

Just a bit on the history front, while I have it in front of me as I look at the F1 qualifying. I have the original Toyota service mock leather folder, with the original service book, owner's manual, and other Toyota documents. Then there's a whole bunch of 'your service' folders which gives receipts from 1997 onwards to the end of Toyota servicing in 2005.

This is taken from the garage receipts, invoices and the service book during my ownership:

year miles work
2010 100632 service
2007 95653 service including cambelt
2009 97253 service inc platinum plugs and 2 rear calipers
i bought the 4 oem struts

when I bought the car in 2005 I had an inspection done on it (by usedcarchecks) and that document is available. It's great documentation, it's what I look for when buying a car. The whole collection is about 2 inches deep.
