Hi all
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
I've just bought my 2nd MR2
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
(yay me!)
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
Anyway, it's got a GT Auto Immobiliser fitted.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
It's got the standard GT Auto teardrop style key fob and all works well.

I'm worried that one day I'll go to get into the car and the battery will have run out!

:S

Can anyone tell me what the general rule of thumb is with immobilisers in this situation?

Do I need to go to a
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
"specialist" place to reset the immobiliser or can I simply bung a new battery into the fob?.

.

.if I can, where can I buy the batteries from

(would rather get one now than wait until it happens).

Cheers
