[Mk2] [Turbo] can anyone recommend a cheap BOV

Post by Olls »

I dont actually like the high pitched whistle you get with some but really like the whoosh sound if anyone could point me in the direction of a reasonably priced one, would be appreciated...I don't want to spend loads just incase it does my nut in after a while and i need to sell it.

I used to have an ARC bov on my rev 2...it didn't often whoosh, only at high boost levels and it wasn't very shrill or loud when it did....at lower levels it fluttered away nicely, making more of a fluttering inward gasp sort of noise..lol..bit like the "squirell mincer" on the top gear edition with the prodrive car....I wish I hadn't sold it...I have seen a couple for sale on here for around £80...£300 new from Japan.

I have a Bosch re-circulating BOV available
rated to 30 psi which should cover most turbos?

It is available due to up-grading for £15 delivered.
