in my humble opinion,
anyone breaking cars on a regular basis,is trading.
not a private seller.
and should advertise in the trade section.
as i have said before it takes the mick, out of genuine members
who sell the occasional item, or are breaking their own car.
not having a go at anyone, just saying it as i see it. paul.

as a private trader we pay more for the privilage, then if we go over a certain number of cars then we pay per car in a certain time.

not sure what you mean by private trader Jason.
and if someone is listing parts, rather than cars for breaking.
how does anyone know how many cars a person is breaking ?

well I think I'm going to list every individual nut and bot and take over the for sale section.

Ahhhhh that's already being done!?! #-o

It used to be great. A big mix of people selling a huge variety of parts. It used to be an Alladins cave. Now, its black mirrors, black bonnet, black light covers rar rar rar. You put it in cars being broken. Surely. Picture of the car, job done.

It's a car forum, not ebay.

Which Breakers?

Affiliates stick to the affiliate section.

Jason I have no problem with your particular style of posting :thumleft: apart from listing bodywork in the MK2 section, but that's my own gripe with many members

Its the endless single posts one after another instead of listing one car as breaking, and posting in the wrong sections

whatever rules are in place people will try and bend them but it's too easy if no one actually enforces the rules in the first place.

I think foxy-stoat suggested max 10 live threads per seller at the one time, seems reasonable though I'd make it 5.

I like that on the GT4OC they make you include certain info, otherwise the post is removed. Most importantly, a picture of the item with a piece of paper with your username written on it.

It's stopped me posting the stuff I have to get rid of as until I have it off the car and ready to sell, I won't have the picture.

It's also good to prevent fraud etc.

Hopefully something can be done?! I have a tin of bolts that I'm nearly ready to sell, then the For Sale section will be all mine

I suppose the downside to that is that someone needs to check each post daily.....
