Im afraid for the fourth time ive got the ring of death . . . . yep xbox number 4 has died !!

This was an xbox that they sent me because they were not able to fix the one elite that i sent off last time. This is around twelve months ago.

Has anyone had problems with the older elite , but been able to convince xbox to send them the newer xbox ?

Not happy !! :evil:

i have had an elite for ages now.. not had any red ring problems with it.
only prob i have is if the tray shuts without a disc in it it will not open again
so always have to make sure it has a disc in it..
before my elite i went through 6 of the white ones...

This problem has rectified its self . The day after it started working and has worked ever since. How bizarre ! :-k

self fixing xbox's....
must be a new feature.. saves them being sent away
