I saw this too. It did make me chuckle!

But they have every right to do that if it isnt fit for purpose.

Never really felt like buying it TBH, it would have to have been something really special to pull me away from MW2.

Hopefully infinity ward will sort out the COD series with MW3.

I'd like a game of MW2 without the cheaters, that would be quite special. Because it's ruined now.

Most of Infinity Ward have left the company.

Firmware 3.56 came with a permanent ban for cheaters on the PS3 black ops servers ... hopefully they do the same for other games very soon.

I thought that was for people who pirated black ops, not cheaters.

Think of it like software built into anything with a microchip (phones, consoles, calculator etc)

Since launch, however, the PlayStation 3 and PC versions of ‘Black Ops’ have suffered technical problems relating to online gameplay

Firmware, as far as I can fathom, is something all electrical goods have these days because the manufacturers rush them out without perfecting them. It allows them to add updates to improve them.

I've been playin it alot lately and there's no problems whatsoever, however Ive noticed an increase in quickscoping now with sniper rifles, I didn't think it was possible on black ops but it appears to be working.

Got a great little tactic im using on firing range map equip flack jacket as one of your classes then get up into the watchtower in the middle of the map and dominate from the high vantage point with an assault rifle & china lake launcher. It virtually impossible for all the revengers to take you out with grenades etc up there if you have the flack jacket on. 8)

Nothing is perfect and firmware updates are a great way to fix bugs and add things to the game..

Only a fool would expect a perfect game. :?

Also while this individual game may perform better on the XBOX i'm afraid to say that

1. because it is made by microsoft
2. the build quality is TERRIBLE
3. it is called XBOX
4. Microsoft again

I would never buy one. And before you start bleating on about sony losing butt loads of account details you just wait won't be long till Microsoft have the same issue. If the ministy of defence can get hacked into then I'm sure Microsoft can or already have and are just keeping it quiet.

My 5p :o
