Was re installing my DSBC yetserday and now I'm gutted as there was a spark as the wires shorted against each other
- didn't realise the ignition was on. Another lesson learned. Ouch. LOL.Continued the installation anyway and the unit works as it should with all features available etc.
However this has no effect on the boost solenoid whatsoever. Connecting 12v across the solenoid makes it click so the solenoid appears to be working. I have to assume that the fault is in the head unit. I'm going to open this up today and see if there is a diode or fuse fitted in line with the solenoid output which may have blown.Are there any electronics experts in the east midlands area that could have a look at it for me or can anyone recommend someone.
