new Sony 22" Bravia TV with PS2 built in disguised as a stand

Post by James »

Pretty sweet for the bedroom!

I bought one from Richer sounds for 200 quid and bought my top 5 favorite xbox1/ps2 games for roughly 3 quid each off eg@y.

Comes with a ps2 controller, tv/dvd remote, internet TV service (youTube etc) Freeview built in, DVD player, plus you can connect to your home network and stream media (DIVX is supported).
3x usb, 4 hdmi, 2 optical out's etc

Alot of entertainment in one cheap package(!)

just looked at that as we will be looking for a bedroom tv after xmas, looks like its not suitable for wall mounting off a bracket, but as you have one maybe you would know if it is?

cheers

Sorry i dont see the point in these. I'd never use the PS2 when i have a PS3. I'm just going to get myself a Panny 42" plasma for the bedroom and link it to my spare PS3.

wow how amazing, bragging about a spare PS3 and a 42" in the bedroom

personally i do see the point of them exactly as the OP has suggested, and to be honest 22" sony with HD capability/freeview etc.. for £200 the fact it has a PS2 built in is a bonus

why not get a projector for the bedroom?

I just dont see the point in a 22" TV with a built in PS2. For me it wouldnt have a use.

ps. I have currently have a 50" plasma in the bedroom but who's biggest wasnt the point of my post.

sorry had left work so didnt see the reply.
no you cant wall mount it, but would you want to mount a 22"?

22" is perfect for the bedroom i think.
The only thing it doesnt have is BBCiplayer

That is a serious bargain, might have to have a proper look at that after Xmas.
