[Mk2] [Turbo] Omori 45mm Boost gauge

Post by craig »

I'm looking at getting a 45mm Omori boost gauge to sit in the stock location. Where is the best place in the UK to purchase one? I've had a search on the tinterweb, and all I can find is US companies who sell them.

Any UK distributors with a good rep?

Many thanks :thumleft:

Nonexistant MR2 Mods Ltd
123 Fakestreet
Madeuptown
Fakeston
AB12 3CD

Or to put it another way, there are no UK suppliers. Get it from 2sRUs in the states, bought mine from there :)

Cheers Marf

Think for the hassle of getting one from the States, think I'll just keep my 60mm greddy effort.

No hassle really, you can order from 2s R Us online and both times I've ordered from him the parcels have arrived with no tax to pay :)

I think he can get them to order, whereas 2s R Us in the states have them in stock ready to ship.

I have an omori gauge but it's failed in very short order, circa 14-16 months. It goes through its self test on start up but then just sits on the bottom dead stop so I'm guessing it's the boost sensor that has died.

However I can't find spares for it for love nor money. Just something to consider if you're thinking of getting the Omori one....

i have one that’s fits in the stock location, whoever fitted it messed up the wiring on the clocks causing a dead rev counter. So i bought some new clocks and never fitted it.

Its a mechanical one, will post a pic if you’re interested.

I believe the US is the place to get them, but I'd personally go for the EMS one as they require less effort to fit them :thumleft:
