Great price on pistons/rods - whats the catch ?

Post by Spidey »

Okay, aside from the seller having 98.3% feedback, why are they so cheap ? Even with shipping and import duty, they are still very cheap ??

having looked at the actual Negative feedback, the most common complaint is the "time" it took to deliver. Only a couple are stating they never recieved thier items etc.. but when you think of a couple amongst several thousands it is one hell of a good selling record.

So, cheap, yes, just be patient regards delivery I reckon :thumleft:

That's just the price things are in the US boss.

I saved 50% on most of my parts by buying from the US.

im using THS rods, they're rated to over 600bhp and look a little beefier than the eagles. got mine for £350 and theyre in the uk so no chance of being stung with import duty and the like.
heres on next to a stock 3S rod

just looked and they are now £337.18 incl vat

Actually, a fair few more deals around the 500-550 euros + shipping.

This is from Real Street Performance - 100% feedback :)

I just bought all my bits from them (realstreetperformance) and they have really helped out.

I had a few parts holding up the order, but the guy is always on hand to answer questions etc. Once I cancelled my cams, the order was with me within 3 days, and they send you a pic of the stuff before it ships.

Get yourself the water and oil pumps too, genuine OEM stuff and much cheaper than here. :thumleft:

Just followed that link, I bought the CP package. Similar price.

Go direct here: http://realstreetperformance.com/store/

And email the guy. They can sort out other bits that aren't on the site.

I only noticed their ebay shop have the same price as their online store. I had assumed that the ebay price would be cheaper.

Although, eBay lets you make an offer. So, if I can save $20-30 off pistons androds and $10 here and there on acl race bearings, head gasket, ARP studs etc, I'd save another $100 via ebay.

Maybe I'll just email and see what they can do on a combo.
