factory immobiliser faulty

I have rev2 MR2 J reg.

recently the stock alarm immobiliser reandomly kicks in and refuses to disarm. so i can`t get the bloody car started. ](*,)

does any one know how to remove or bypass the unit PM me the details please!

I short of cash this month , as she new rad and clutch cry

think its activated by drivers door lock had problems with mine in the winter when it froze, might be worth taking door panel of and see if its moving freely just a thought mate, im sure someone will tell you if you wish to buypass it. :thumleft: :thumleft: :thumleft:
she's all comming together nicely now after a fair bit of cash spent, not bad for just an n/a now for some body kit i think.

thanks for the reply.

Got the car knowing she had issues. but the Alarm bits only just started.

The driver side door console switchs work abit strange.

the central looking doesnt open the NSD that will only happen on the door switch. and the NS window wont open till the drivers door is shut.

that sounds like the wiring in the drivers door is worn or corroded i have the same in mine at the moment can only put window up all down when door is shut or if you wiggle the wiring loom that goes from the door to the car


havent tried sorting mine yet lol

had Auto tech out today.

bypassed the stock unit and fitted a good new one,

it was the wires between the car and door post, little bit rotton
