What is it about space bus thing drivers?

Post by ulysess1966 »

This is more of a gripe than anything, but what is it with people (blokes) who drive space bus 'person carrier' things that they just have to race everything in sight in spite of the fact that their car weighs more than a Greyhound Bus and is powered by a tractor engine?

Gripe ends.

*I* do it because I forget what I'm in... One minute I'm driving a mid engined rear wheel drive 2.0 litre turbocharged 3SGTE equipped sports car, the next I'm in a mid engined rear wheel drive 2.2 litre turbocharged 3CTE equipped people carrier...

Behold, the BattleBus:

Yep, never fool for the " diesel". My VW Shalambraxy, 2.8 VR6, 174bhp/174 lb/ft. Fully loaded at 2.5 tonnes, it'll still cruise at 120 all day, mind you it needs the length of Essex to stop!

on our little sunday cruise.... 4 sw20's - 3 of them tubbies .. all very modified.. i'm tail end charlie as i have the N/A...

get to a roundabout.. and @sshole in a lexus (new thing) decides he has to show his pen1s is bigger than all ours combined...
@sshole cuts the pack up and tries to follow our Lead red Mr2. (hence red leader  )
Red leader has 300 bhp. - lexus looks stupid as Red leader takes off up the hill as if it were pumping the warp drive...the following tubbies overtake trying to catch up with red leader... unfortunately i encounter traffic so no overtaking 4 me.. but still showing he had some inches left..Penisaurus tries to hoof it.. unsuccessfully... and unfortunatly tail end charlie is stuck all over his ar$e like a nasty cling on rash...

I hate it when these people want to interrupt our convoy ON PURPOSE mind.. and have to show that their (diesel) sportscar cough cough .. is superior to the Mr2 turbo because they have spent four hundred and fifty billion pounds on a silver car that looks just like the other peice of xxxx coming the other way...

then me.. tail end charlie.. and we are always on channel 2.. which is also the same channel that south hampton clan uses...
