[Mk2] [Turbo] Help 2000rpm idle, battery light and exhaust temp warning light on

Just moved a rev2 mr2 turbo which has been standing for about two months.

Car started fine and idled correctly.

I literally got 50metres, the battery light came on and the exhaust temp warning light and the car started idling at 2000 rpm.

Any ideas what to check.
Its a Rev2 turbo, decat, exhaust, induction kit, intercooler, rev3 turbo, other than that its stock :thumleft:

Just had a good look round the engine bay and theres what looks like an earth lead which is loose.

Heres a pic of it, any idea where it should plug into. Its above the alternator.

maybe its just my comp but i cant see any picture...

Those dash lights all indicate alternator has stopped working though so at a guess I'd say the earth wire is something to do with that.
