A bit of an update, we got our first pair of lines for the rear full-race SW20 kit yesterday, and while they are very nice - the fittings Toyota used (and Earls therefore are forced to copy) make these pretty expensive! (£94.08+vat/pr)
You can see the fittings here:

Just a note to confirm that we can supply Carbotech pads for our calipers as people as so keen on them for the MR2! Here's how the various options compare:
- EBC Reds are £36.44+vat/pr
- EBC Yellows are £34.40+vat/pr
- EBC Blues are £38.93+vat/pr
- Ferodo DS2500 (fast road) = £47.20+vat/set
- Ferodo DS3000 (race) = £50.40+vat/set
- Carbotech XP8 (race) = £145.00+vat/set - Other compound info available, please ask...

We're looking at doing a batch of brackets for a new kit size, 280mm to fit in the 15" OEM front wheel.
As with the larger kit, there are two versions that share a bracket to allow swapping from one disc to the other:
4P158 - 280x22, T20 caliper, straight fit under SW20 original 15" wheel, no spacer. Should be £435.34+vat
4P159 - 280x28, T20 caliper, straight fit under SW20 original 15" wheel, no spacer. Should be £492.71+vat.
- Future alloy bell + 280mm rotor retro-upgrade, also fits under SW20 original 15" wheel.
These kits will use the same WMS/earls brake lines in the first post, and the same pads - including of course Carbotech, EBC and Ferodo.
What we are looking for is enough people who want the kit to justify getting a batch of brackets machined so please let me know so we can make this happen!

Oh, it looks like (based on my +/- 1mm printable PDFs, so not 100% confirmed), the 298.5x18 4P018 kit might just fit inside the ET43 15x7 Rays TE37...
If so that's a "300mm" kit under a 15", not often that's possible!

I've been doing more work on the Mk2 original 15" front wheel (Toyota made it SO tight to fit a 4-pot in there! ), but good news, both 280mm kits (22mm thick 4P158 and 28mm thick 4P159) fit with NO wheel spacers!

I was looking at wheel weights: www.imoc.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=126475 and www.wheelweights.net/wheel-weight-weight.pdf ....15" Mk2 front wheels are 13.6kg/pr, 15" Volk TE37s are 7.2kg/pr (lightest I could find), so:
- Going from Mk2 front wheels to Volks saves 6.4kg of unsprung/rotational mass.
- But going from Rev 2 front brakes to WMS 298.5mm 4 pots saves 11.28kg!!!
That's very nearly twice the improvement! (Only TE37's don't make you stop any quicker... )

Re: WMS Brakes-> SW20 4 pot brake kit: £495.00+vat (also 2.5% or 5% IMOC discounts!)
I've been doing a lot more work on the Mk2 brakes under standard wheels..... I've designed a new bracket, bell and rotors (but not had them machined yet until I have an order or two) and spent a lot of time making everything as cross-compatible as I can. The bell takes a range of rotors (280x20.5, 280x22, 280x24 and 298.5x20.5!!) all fitting the one bell, and reversible brackets to give two offsets to suit two disc choices in one part. So here are the options (once I get the bell and the 280mm bracket machined, these parts are BOLD):
To fit under 15" Rev 2> wheel, NO wheel spacers:
F: 4P158 bracket (side A) - 280x22 disc WMS 4-pot. Should be £462.13+vat
F: 4P158 bracket (side B) - 280x28 disc WMS 4-pot. Should be £519.51+vat.
F: 4P158 bracket (side A) - 280x22 rotor+bell WMS 4-pot
F: 4P158 bracket (side B) - 280x24 rotor+bell WMS 4-pot
R: Rev 2> 22v original caliper - 280x22 rotor+bell WMS upgrade!
16" wheel:
F: 4P018 bracket (side A) - 298.5x18 disc WMS 4-pot
F: 4P018 bracket (side B) - 296x28 disc WMS 4-pot
F: 4P018 bracket (side A) - 298.5x20.5 rotor+bell WMS 4-pot
R: RB008 bracket - 298.5x18 disc WMS 4-pot (race only)
R: RB008 bracket - 298.5x20.5 rotor+bell WMS 4-pot (race only)
So with 15's you can run 280x24 rotor+bell front WMS 4-pot / 280x22 rotor+bell Rev2> 22v rear, or with 16's you could run 298.5x20.5 rotor+bell front WMS 4-pot / 280x22 rotor+bell Rev2> 22v rear, or the same sizes but with the cheaper one-piece discs, or any other combination you want really! All I need to make this range expansion happen is a couple of orders, as I only need to add the 280mm bracket for most people, and the bells+rotors if the demand is there.
The 280x22 rotor would also work on the Mk1 REAR....with the Woodsport style welded 22v, to replace the G60 disc.....
To fit under 15" Rev 2> wheel, NO wheel spacers:
F: 4P158 bracket (side A) - 280x22 disc WMS 4-pot. Should be £462.13+vat
F: 4P158 bracket (side B) - 280x28 disc WMS 4-pot. Should be £519.51+vat.
F: 4P158 bracket (side A) - 280x22 rotor+bell WMS 4-pot
F: 4P158 bracket (side B) - 280x24 rotor+bell WMS 4-pot
R: Rev 2> 22v original caliper - 280x22 rotor+bell WMS upgrade!
16" wheel:
F: 4P018 bracket (side A) - 298.5x18 disc WMS 4-pot
F: 4P018 bracket (side B) - 296x28 disc WMS 4-pot
F: 4P018 bracket (side A) - 298.5x20.5 rotor+bell WMS 4-pot
R: RB008 bracket - 298.5x18 disc WMS 4-pot (race only)
R: RB008 bracket - 298.5x20.5 rotor+bell WMS 4-pot (race only)
So with 15's you can run 280x24 rotor+bell front WMS 4-pot / 280x22 rotor+bell Rev2> 22v rear, or with 16's you could run 298.5x20.5 rotor+bell front WMS 4-pot / 280x22 rotor+bell Rev2> 22v rear, or the same sizes but with the cheaper one-piece discs, or any other combination you want really! Just a note to say we have had a batch of calipers in, 90% are sold already but a few are up for grabs still!
There are less of the 1.38" (matching Rev2> rear) piston size than the 1.25" (matching Rev 1 rear).

Ok, due to a lack of interest I'm doing an introductory deal on the 280mm / 15" fitting kit to kick start it (without some sales I can't jutify getting the brackets machined which is a shame!):

It's possible, depending on demand! It would be an increase in cost due to the larger discs and the need for the larger T30x caliper.

So for everything all in, discs, calipers, pads and including VAT and postage what does it work out at roughly? I`ve just shelled out on coilovers and a few other bits but I will be looking to upgrade my brakes next, at the end of this month.
Most people would go for:
£431.69+vat for the kit which is the discs, calipers, brackets+inserts, bolts.
EBC Reds are £35.37+vat
Lines need to be confirmed but are probably £50.77+vat/pr
UK Zone 1 shipping is FREE for people who use a bank transfer, or £10.00+vat for people who use PayPal.
So the total for the front (via transfer) is £517.83+vat (£608.45 inc vat)
Hi I'm after this set up ASAP , could you give me a current price including the imoc discount please, would you have any idea on delivery times also? Many thanks

Keri,
Your brake upgrade looks very intersting but I have a few questions. I'm no expert in this area so I'm just asking because I would like to know the answers - I need to change my front brakes anyway (pads worn and one of the discs is warped) so now seems a good time to consider an upgrade. I like the fact that you've considered retaining the correct front/rear balance with your kits. I also like that your kit is a lot lighter than the OEM stuff because of the whole unsprung weight thing.
So ...
I noticed your discs are a lot thinner than the stock ones. Does this cause any problems with overheating, fade or warping? Also, how does this affect disc life (in terms of wear limits)?
Do you have matching kits for the rears that still have a handbrake?
Are your calipers road sealed (whatever that means)? I've heard that some race calipers aren't and that it can be a problem when they're used in winter with salt on the roads (I don't know how much of an issue this really is).
Cheers,
Kingsley.

We're looking at kits to use the 324mm Supra discs as used in some BBK big disc kits...these will need 17" wheels in most cases. Here are some sneak peeks:

Sorry I missed this! I'll answer anyway in case it helps....
1. The 298.5x18mm thick kit is of course not as heavy-duty as the 296x28, but it's not shown to have any issues as a result for most people. For the higher powered cars, the 296x28 might be a sensible choice, or if you're planning to put so many miles on the car that wear is important to you.
2. Not as yet, although we do plan to. We are also looking to release a big-disc rear kit that re-uses the rear OEM caliper on a larger disc.
3. This is honestly not an issue, the calipers have internal seals - the "bellows" type external ones on OEM calipers just burn/crack in high temperature performance use and make things worse than not fitting them.
The caliper bores are corrosion resistant hard anodised, and the pistons are stainless steel. We have a 12 month guarantee on the seals and I can't remember the last time anyone took us up on it - in fact I don't even think we sold any seals at all last year......given that there are loads of cars which have had out brakes for many years I think that makes the point.
