The led mods for the rev3 lights look good I've seen a few doing that. Ah cool I'd be lost with the wire cables the the knobs use to adjust lol

Re: TRD Show car - Rebild & Re-spray in Candy Red
Mine arrived this week can't wait to get them fitted they look fantastic thanks
Re: TRD Show car - Rebild & Re-spray in Candy Red
finally got round to spending some time on the car and fitting my alloy radistor and twin fans, hopefully keep temperaturs down. boot mount intercooler next
Re: TRD Show car - Rebild & Re-spray in Candy Red
Not keen on that front splitter but a lovely car... By the way what throttle body do you have?? Just spent hours polishing mine but yours looks very smooth?
Re: TRD Show car - Rebild & Re-spray in Candy Red
custom 70mm universal job. works ok apart from obviously no idle valve
Re: TRD Show car - Rebild & Re-spray in Candy Red
Did you get any different temperatures after fitting the alloy rad?
Re: TRD Show car - Rebild & Re-spray in Candy Red
hard to tell really, unless you measure it with a more acurate gauge. plus i havent got the fans wired to a hard switch yet
Re: TRD Show car - Rebild & Re-spray in Candy Red
Ok, wanted to know because i'm interested in the gains of a replacement rad as I want to mount a pre rad for my chargecooler setup and am not keen on giving up to much capacity of my stock rad.
Re: TRD Show car - Rebild & Re-spray in Candy Red
Got the car working again after the dreaded red battery light came on - Alternator failure. only took bout 2/3 hours to swap, definitely not as hard as people make out!
also replaced and painted my rear arms, front next to clear my wheel wobble!

The devil is in the detail with these things
Re: TRD Show car - Rebild & Re-spray in Candy Red
Think apart from trying to get the rear lights complete before the next show, thats it this year.
Once car is off the road for the winter (september time) i will start to detail underneath

Re: TRD Show car - Rebild & Re-spray in Candy Red
Cars now tucked up for winter.
The plan is to detail some more underneath and if i can get hold of one for a good price, fit a rev 3 engine.
hopefully make it to some shows next year

You'll have no problem. MR2s have massive cooling capacity. We have plenty of customers with stock rad, air con rad and chargecooler rad, running increased boost with no cooling problems whatsoever.
Re: TRD Show car - Rebild & Re-spray in Candy Red

I have to say this is probably one of my favourite MR2's around at the minute it looks absolutely awesome. Had a lot of time and effort gone into it and it certainly shows, top work mate keep up the great work

Dash in this is begging for an iPad install.
new seats
The car will be coming out of hibernation in a few weks so i though i would give it a makeover inside and out for the coming 2013 shows!
Got some new seat, very comfy
And iv started building some rear speaker pods, hopefully complete over the coming weeks.
Only other thing is the dreaded MOT at the end of the month
Also i need some parts to complete the overhaul:
1. a good condition ct20b turbo
2. pasenger side door kick panel - long plastic bit in black
3. blanking switch plates that go under the dash to fill holes in - in black

They fit perfectly with the interior, which itself is pretty special
I'm looking to get my Brides re-trimmed over the next few months, as they look a little tired and don't match my interior as I'd like.
No big power build plans on the horizon?
