Quick Boost Controller Q :S

Post by Project_AW11 »

Right this may just be me being paranoid but im sure one of you guys can point me in the right direction :thumleft:

I disconnected my Dual SBC Blitz boost controller completely to move it to a new position in the car. Will this affect any of the settings or anything currently stored? ie will it need setting up again?

Cheers

No, they "usually" store the settings and you can only clear them with a master reset kind of function.

The battery on my car has run completely flat over night a couple of times and my EVC6 has never lost its settings :)

when you take it out, i dont suppose you can look at the wire connections on the back of the unit plug? need to find out which ones are positive and negative power so i can test a unit i have from an old car and i dont have the connecting cable. iicr the plug layout is like this on mine

if you could let me know it would be a big help and save me wasting money if it doesn't power up

Hey i would but ive already done it im afraid, although i will be taking it off as soon as i have a turbo timer so i can fit that too. So ill check then for you :thumleft:

QUESTION:

The existing hose running to my boost controller... can i put a "t section" in it to run some pipe to the turbo timer too? Ie utrbo timer and boost controller both getting their readings from one the same pipe. Or will this affect the pressure readings etc? Very noobish question i know!

Cheers
