Has anyone got any experience of these?
Also, will 275/40R17 fit in the arches? If not, what modifications are required?
Thanks

Re: Kuhmo Ecsta V70A
I'm running them on the rear (std 15" size) with r888's up front. Only done road miles so far as I wont be getting back on track until August. So far so good I wouldn't say they're as good as r888's but they're much quieter on the road and hopefully longer lasting (i bought the hard compound). I only bought them to replace my rear R888's and refused to pay Toyo's new crazy prices

That's the reason why I'm looking at them. R888 prices have simply gone astronomical.

I think even AO48's are cheaper these days and I've heard they're better than toyos

If you really want good tyres, look at avon ABC10's
Re: Kuhmo Ecsta V70A
What did you think of the Kuhmo Ecsta V70A ?
edit:
i'm going to try these out on stock 15" wheels soon.
Tyre wall flex from T1R's isn't nice, although I know there will be some flex anyway.

the v70a is an excellent tyre according to reviews i have seen
forgotten where, possibly on jonb's tyre review site but in track tyre tests they performed better than the 888's

245/40/17 *just* fits on a 9 inch wheel with a 15mm spacer. You will probably need to get the arches flared...

Sort it out sir !
I've still probably got about 6 months on my T1R's and I'd rather try these out first before stumping up cash to buy rota grids in a larger size.
