These kits replace the poorly securing phillips head screws fitted to Gen2 engines and the perfectly adequate
(besides appearance) Gen3 10mm hex head screws. By now your factory washers that sit under these bolts would have gone solid and have lost some of their clamp, another reason to replace them!
