Everything you need, never go to a main dealer, they're on commision to drum up extra work.

As previously mentioned... they look for problems that don't need fixing! Run away!!! to your nearest dodgy back street garage where a bloke probebly called "Tony" will sort you out...

Aye, but I want to know any real faults.

The MOT is obviously £40, not too bad and I've got 15 days of the current certificate left, so I can just go somewhere else if they want to give me loads of work.

Would be nice to get a clean bill of health, but I suspect a few things...

Well Mr.T will certainly find faults...

Im lucky that the bloke who MOT's my car is very fair, but will let me know all the problems he's found that arn't failures, but need looking at in the future.

Save £40, find a decent independant garage!

Horray! My tubby just passed another MOT. My first MOT with decat and Nur Spec! Passed emmisions fine too! I put the bung in the Nur Spec for the MOT but the guy said he wouldnt have failed it without the bung anyway. Sorry to hear your car failed Andy. Hope you get it sorted soon. Ive just compared my previous 2 MOTs and I have only done just under 5 thousand miles last year. I reckon I should start using it more!!
