Been seeing some adverts for this on the telamavision, but I never played the first one.

A) Will I need to play the first 1 to appreciate the 2nd
B) Anyone played the 2nd yet, other than H3RB, that can say what it's like?

I really enjoyed the first one so I was tempted to check this one out but I'll hire it out instead now.

I only played the demo for the first one, you reckon it's worth me picking up? It's peanuts and I'm off work next week.

First one is worth buying second hand for about a fiver.

It's got a touch of oldskool about it, epic boss battles and finger constantly on the fire button.

Give it a try. It's a marmite game.

I like it but not so much i'd pay £40.

I wasnt nesessarily talking about buying LP2 now, but may be in the future. But as I have a week off next week, it might be handy to get the first one in the bag as unless I have holiday booked from work, I dont get to play games.

The first one was awesome and the second one was meant to be but then only got average reviews.

Probably still worth a blast for the single player. Have a look on metacritic.

Bought it on day of release for £27 from Tescos....took it back 2 days later! Extremerly frustrating and VERY VERY Japanese!! Nice graphics and sounds but gameplay was very sub-standard the the boss fights were drill-your-teeth-frustrating!!

Yeah you're right mate, but this was justified trust me! Wait until its £10-15 then buy it.
