Grrr hit a pot hole on the A34 there was a bang but did not think much of it, got onto A303 and pulled out to overtake a Morris Minor and almost hit the central reservation. Then I notice a trail of blue smoke and pretty grim burning rubber smell... Very very scary

Ouch!

Seems like most of it's still there so it doesn't look like it let go really badly, at least.

Does anybody have regular punctures with low profile tyres?
Seems like whenever I see a LP tyre flat it's always ripped the sh*t out of the sidewall in the process.

I asked God for a bike, but I know God doesn't work that way. So I stole a bike and asked for forgiveness.

Had 3 on the megane under 1 year.

Thankfully no high speed blow outs. They are about 35 profile on 18s.

Everytime the sidewall has been ripped to bits.

I have now bought a whole new set of 15s with 45s on and feels much better round corners and pot holes. Also not to mention £30-£40 a tyre unlike £78+ on the 18s.
