Re: pics of Diy sub
I took my dashboard apart to see if I could sneak in my 10" under the glovebox area but couldnt manage it
Re: pics of Diy sub
This 6.5" speaker fits realy neatly and can hardly been seen, it also does not take away any leg room.
i used a 6.5" BASS SPEAKER 250WATTS 8 OHM KEVLAR CONE from ebay.
for around £20 and this is driven via a fusion powered amp complete with a remote bass limiting control.
i used a 1" strip of alley covered in black cloth tape to secure the sub using 2 existing bolts under the dash

There is also enough room to house a single or double 6.5" driver behind the seats, in a triangular or trapezoidal croos section box.
My crazy MK1 install has gone by the wayside - it jusr never sounded good, and I've now got a BMW for a proper sound quality install. I'm going to bung 4" Hertz components in the MR2, and amplify them with a rather special tiny amp I'm getting for £20...

Ive got a 10" jl audio W3 behind the passenger seat. Cut the bulkhead carpet so the box can hide behind it. Amp mounted where the rear storage box used to be
