i went up the garage to work on the car the engine is all dropped out along wiv gearbox,intercooler,turbo,exhaust,accileries

yet again my plans hav been put back due to unforseen failure. well were shall i start well the transmition was best described aswell mullerd an as for the diff that was plain f***ed wasnt surprising considering it had put up with abuse for nearly 20years with an extra bhp runnin throu it,then we moved on to checking the turbo,stupidly i assumed that it would be fine as its was only replaced last year for a brand new hyrid turbocharger from turbotechnics,we checked the shaft an saw there was upto 0,9mm play which is to excesive especialy for the age, after more exsamination we noticed the blades had actuely hit the hounsing cousing sum to bend an chip needless to say i pi$$ed :realmad: , we now need to do more investigating to figure out the actual cause of the engine faulure, i.e was it due to turbo internal faulure cause foreighn objects to go inside the engine causing valve/piston, bore damgage, or was it caused by the ringland snapping on cylinder 3 causing metal particles to go into the oil feed to the turbo bearing/internals causing the turbo failure.
after all that we noticed the brake master cylender wasnt workin correctly so a new one is needed from toyota and they dont come cheap!
but wot does these days...
well as for the gearbox iv sourced a new gts gearbox with a 1.5way cusco diff from japan to suite needless to say it was damn exspensive!!! (bang goes the scooby :offtopic:)

now i have the joy of arguin my case to the manager of turbotechnics no doubt they arnt goin to want to admit responsabilty so untill i find the actual cause tho project has cum to a holt,so its unlikly now that the car will be on the road for a while :censored: :censored: :censored:

Right ok this is the next instalment of my nighmare lol, the final cause of what caused the engine to die was two things one was due to a serious oil pump falure it was best descibed as in pieces, oviously that caused no oil to flow around properly that in it self also caused it to over heat at the top end which did the head gasket in cylender 3 and 4 wich caused oil to floud the engine wich starved the turbo of oil and callapsed the bairing which caused the shaft play and the bent blades an god now what else im having it sent to a specialist for his oppinion,with all that we noticed the crank had also been sevearly starved of oil that caused the bearings/shells to get scored to f*** along with the crank itself aswell i could hav it reground etc but already bought standard size acl race bearing not oversized so instead of f***in around trying to source new oversized set and losing out on cash on the standard set, so now im having to buy a new crank, well the new gearbox and two way cusco diff should be here sumtime this week, along with a new sump,,im having a custom mannifold made up at some stage out of high grade cast whith exsternal wastegate fabricated on to it which is goin to be ceramic coated to reduce temp along with down pipe, im still spec'n the turbo size for my engine spec probebly decide on the gt35r trying to hav as little as lag as possible aswell as having very efficiant flow.

you might might just be able to see slight scorring on the crank but you could certainly feel when i run my nail across it lol

but on the plus side i finshed the charger cooler bein made out of aircraft alloy it was very tuff an took nearly two weeks to finish an it came out well, irl let the pics speak for them selves

gas flowed, ported oversized valves fitted with 5 angle valve seats, uprated double endid hks valve springs also fitted

another lil set back was only rearlized today that the paddle clutch i bought will only put up with 450bhp max so as the build has gone on to a new phase it wont even last a mappin session on the dyno, so i had to source a clutch that would be abble to put up wiv sum serious torque so the OSGIKEN multi plate ceramic clutch is now on the cards at 1.5k they dont come cheap, better start doin sum running to build up my leg muscles

My newly desigend os giken multi plate clutch and flywheel turned up today fresh from japan its a beast cant beleive i paid as much as i did could of bought a car but should put up with the 2bar launches lmfao anyway pic's for you all

a couple of bits iv had come back ready to bolt on

i got bord of all the bling in the engine bay and decided to toan it down a little, even tho it did only see one car show, so i had a spare rocker cover custom coated in the marinello crackel paint in black finished off with Greddy oil filler cap and some stainles bolts

picked up some goodys today a link knock sensor with display a triple dash pod and a set of ultra ultra rare toyota jdm wind defflectors, to show how rare they are i phoned toyota to find out if they had some fresh clips and on there records it shows they where an optional extra only in japan.







just waiting on a apexi oil pressure guage to finish it off but as usual there not easy to come by the old school version

picked up my huuugggee intercooler up as i decided to sell the pace chargecooler as it wouldnt of been surficiant enough for my new hp output, so this beast should be man enough for the job its 880x340x110mm compaired to the aftermarket liner R33 cores wich are
600 x 300 x 76mm lol, i also bought a 3" 1/2 pipe kit and samco fitting with clamps


The pakaging did the surface no favours so im going to spend sat give it some elbow grease to get it to a profetional mirror finish

Engine is finaly starting to come togetha i might get it on the road by summer fingers crossed, all the parts are in from toyota,os giken,hux etc
just waiting on GT3076R turbo kit, custom made down pipe, custom made screamer pipe,tial 50mm exsternal waste gate, ko racing exhaust, 2x slimline spal 11" fans, 2x pirreli p zero tyres and a few other bits

inlet mannifold, exhaust mannifold, rocker cover, oil cooler all on including wirirng harness, just attatching all the fidley anicilary samco hoses then pop the clutch on with the box bobs your uncle, ready to go back in the car so i can make a start on fabricating the intercooler in the boot with necessary pipework.fit the turbo kit exhaust coolant hoses, wind defflectors, all the guages and sensors and alot of other bits and pieces.
