What other oil

I normally run Silkolene Pro S 10w50 in my car, and I need to do an oil change over the weekend. OpieOils give a "within" 5 days delivery quote which is no good for this weekend so I'm wondering what will be a suitable alternative for the interim until I can get some more Pro S. I'm having the car re-tuned on Tuesday so really want it to be running on fresh oil.

Any recommendations of something which will be available locally?

I use mobil 1 15w 50. Quite pricey but had no problems.

I've got a spare bottle of silkolene, if you want to drive down I can meet you around the Croydon/Purley Way area?

Ive used the silkolene pro 15-50 and mobil 1 0-50 IIRC.

The Mobil 1 seemed to last better/stayed golden even after longer abuse.

Mobil 1 will be fine mate.
TOTB 2010 Rwd top speed, 1/4 and shootout winner.
10.7@142 on R888 street tyres, 10.3@134mph on slicks,
9's on slicks to come, with a clean full throttle pass! Goal of 0-150mph in a 1/4 of a mile....

As above, I used to use 15w50 Mobil 1. Great oil and cheap too. :D

Cheers guys, will grab some Mobile 1 15w50 from Halfords after work. Its on offer at the mo too which is a result.

Yas, thanks for the offer mate. Will give this mobile 1 a try for now and see how I get on.
