What does it use and need?
*I know the engine oil. Using Valvoline 5W40 syn power for it.
*I know the brake fluid. Using AP Racing Formula DOT 5.1 Brake Fluid for it.
*Clutch fluid. Would be the same as brake fluid.
*Coolant. Well, just some good red stuff I guess.
But what more needs some oil/fluid?
The LSD?
Where/how can I check what's in it. And what do I use for it, where does it go, and does it need bleeding aswell?

Re: Oils and fluids
You can use same fluid for clutch as brakes.
Coolant wise, most people swear by toyota 4life but it is quite expensive. I have never had any issues using any coolant designed for aluminium engines.
For your LSD, If it is a stock one it is pre oiled and sealed so you cannot change this. You can however change the gearbox oil with a good 75w90 gl4/5 (most will say Redline mt90)
Hope this helps

Re: Oils and fluids
How would I know if I've got a stock LSD or an aftermarket one.
And should the oil be changed if it's an aftermarket one?
As for the gearbox, how important is it to change that oil?
And how do I check if it needs to be changed.
As for the procedure... where, how, bleeding yes or no?

Re: Oils and fluids
don't forget the washer bottle!
Gearbox- there's a large nut on the side facing the front bulkhead. Mine had a label on, but it's quite obvious.
Remove this with the car level, and you can measure the level by sticking something in (I would suggest however a bent 4" nail)
this is also how you top it up - when the fluid is level with the hole, you're there.

Re: Oils and fluids
i imagine if the car had an aftermarket LSD its not the kind of info that gets lost between sales/owners. probably safe to assume its standard, so you dont need to worry about it.
coolant should by ethyl-glycol based, which toyota long life (forlife) coolant is.
