big hole in dash...help needed

In my 1991 gt ltd mk2 I have a blinkn great hole in my dash where the radio should go, guy who owned the car last ripped it out and almost the dash with it. How do i go about fixing a normal alpine headunit, not concerned with wiring but just the placement, i sthe a special dash adapter that fits >? please help

hi m8,halfords do a stereo cowl that will turn the big square hole into a normal stero hole with a blank plate underneath.its pricey bout £30 quid but looks good when done you may have to order it though as i did
