New member!

Post by eg-iain »

Heya people i'm new the mr2 world haha!

I'm a mate of vish on here with a white v6 converted mr2, i've been a honda boy for a while infact i've had 3-4 of them now. Then i went onto a s13 and now i will be collecting a carib blue rev 3 mr2 non turbo!

So excited! I have a few plans for it like getting it as low as possible, so looking at d2 coilovers for the 120mil drop. Also at some point get some nice dishy rims. I already have my wooden Nardi for it and around 40 random stickers haha! Probs going to be a bit different...oh also i run the blog StatusUnknown :D

But anyway Hello!

120mil

Good luck, I dropped mine 60mm and it was a nightmare! Don't do it, or if you do then do it on Airbags so you can put it back up again

Hey thanks for the welcome dudes

120 mil would be awesome, Vish's mr2 was dropped all the way down on bc racing coilovers but i want lower than that. I've had d2's down around 100 on my old civic and had integra which was just on it's hole haha

How could you ruin an integra like that? Blaspemy!

Looks like it was an SiR, so I guess at least you didn't ruin a type-R.

Hello and welcome to you too lol!

Ruin is a bit harsh, it was a dc1 integra from japan ovb with the 1.6 sohc. I infact bought it like this with uprated shocks and ebay coilover sleaves lol.

I also owned this...

Fair play haha i'm new to all of this was well into my hondas for a long while intill i saw the light that i was wasting my money haha! As vish says "bang for buck" and then i started looking for the following..

Coupe
Long mot
Non turbo
Awesome looks!

And hence why the mr2 was the choice it was that or non turbo s body (very rare over here :() or an mx5 (even girl friend belives would make me gay).

Just going for the small mods to start off with intill i move to a smaller flat. In the meantime long lenth mirror, momo boss (or whatever boss will fit my nardi), some mad gear knob and some wee drift charms hanging about
