God Of War has me considering a PS3!
Having played the demo a few months back i was very very impressed with the smooth as silk in game graphics.
The controll system is much the same as the old ones but it really is a game that combines good old button bashing and eye candy and gore!
What more could you ask for?

Re: God of war III
Is that a cut scene?
Or have they changed the camera to a more cinematic style?

Re: God of war III
I'd personally get GOW3 over Heavy Rain (or get the GOW Collection if you've never played the first 2 to catch up on the story)
A mate give me his copy of Heavy Rain for a few nights to try and i finished it in 3 evenings (put about 8 hours into it) it's worth a play through but i'd wait until it's a bit cheaper.

Yeah, Heavy Rain is awesome but its just not really a "game". I appreciate the storyline and awesome gfx but imo as a game its a little let down. It's more of a "press-this-button-when-I-tell-you-to" type rather than what it claims to be.
Never played any GOW series before but I'm impressed by the stunning graphics and brutal gameplay of the latest one.

Re: God of war III
i lent it off my bro a few days ago and started playing it. just killed Poseidon then turned it off doesnt seem to bad but the graphics are awesome
Re: God of war III
cant believe i played for about 3 hours before i remembered/realised you can power up your weapons etc!
I fooking wondered why the bosses were so damn hard!
Ive just killed Pandoras daddy and im off to find her next!
Loving this game! 7.5 hours into it now on normal. Although that would have been much shorter had i realised about powering up the weapons!

I bought all 3 the other week and finished them, the only down side to the games is they are a little short but I cant fault them anywhere else

Finished this today on normal mode. Going to try it on hard now using the extra bonus items I have picked up on route! Wicked game and storyline. They really should make a movie of it.
