The brackets are not ready yet, but to help get the kits "signed off" with details like brake lines I've bought a Mk2!

This will help get them out the door in final spec sooner once the brackets are done.

Shouldn't be long...although I have to re-stock calipers as well as I just ran out! 8-[

:mrgreen: Well that's the plan! I hope I can get them under the SW20 15's as well, but we'll have to see about that....

Normally EBC Red / Yellow as they are so good for the money.

Then we also offer Ferodo DS2500 / DS3000.

Other mfrs of pads that fit the WMS T20 caliper include:

Mintex
Pagid
Hawk
Wilwood
Carbotech
Performance Friction
KFP
Carbone Lorraine
Endless as well aparently!

I like the sound of carbotechs, as I have them on my std setup and they work awesome!

I've heard good things about them as well but we've never got our mitts on them to have a try! The range of prices in pads is amazing, very roughly:

EBC = £35/set
Ferodo = £50/set
Pagid = £200/set!

The carbotechs are probably pretty expensive, I had the ebcs before found the oem toyota pads better imo.

Which EBC pads did you try? The (nasty) Green has given EBC a bit of a bad name, but the Red and Yellow seem to work really well for everyone I've supplied them to.

EBC actually sell the Red as "OEM fit" for import Mk2 Turbos, quite interesting but ties in with their "over 200bhp" guidelines!

I have Carbotecs on my rev5 brakes. They are chuffing good without a doubt, but I don't feel they stand upto trackdays with standard discs and calipers, I've issues with brake fade, which is more than likely due to my bloody calipers binding, hence wanting some new ones 8)

Getting full pad retraction when you're off the brakes is critical to cool the pads, so you're right that sticking calipers "don't help".

Gotta love sliding calipers!

I've rebuilt them once before already, not going to bother faffing around with them a second time.

Do they fit under 16" wheels do you know?

I'll still be having a set off you, but will be a year away now, I've had an unexpected change of plan and am off to Hong Kong to live next month for the next year :mrgreen:

They do indeed fit under 16's! Depends on the wheel, but should be most 16's.

There's an irony that the brakes are done but you're fleeing the country - ho hum!!! #-o :lol: :lol:

Sounds cool though... :thumleft:

I know, tell me about it. I've been hassling you for ages, and as soon as they are ready, I'm gone!
Will you be doing anything for the rears over the next year?

I've done worse - I was talking to one guy about doing a kit for his M3, and the R&D took ages........turned out in the meantime the guy had DIED! :shock: 8-[

Stuff like that happens if you deal with loads of people, still feels really wierd though.

As for rears, that's the plan (there IS a rear 4-pot kit ready now but there's no handbrake, full-race car only).

i think offset and style of the wheel,

you can have same offset of the wheel , one may clear another style may not

usually they do a paper cut out to try

PS: how (big disc mm) is the rear kit, and do these need to swap the master cylinder to bigger bore?

i try to retrofit the abs, and saw i think in wolfkitz they do bigger cylinder using factory line abs too
