I think most of you know my events of early winter.
I've now bought a rev 4 N/A on 70k miles and great condition, It's a UK model, 1998, FSH, vgc leather seats and t-bar roof in azure blue - just the donor I was after!
I say donor, because I'm getting my turbo engine put in along with some other goodies.
Will update over the next 2/3 months
Excuse the crap pics

Looks in very good condition Leon. Shall be watching progress with great interest mate
Re: New '2 - advice needed on wheel colour!
Got the car back from 3S on Saturyday, turbo engine in and new Berk exhaust and dp on. New ignition components fitted too.
Next things in this order:
1. Fit Tein Flex coilovers
2. Buy and fit KO racing 3" intake, hydraulic engine strut, uprated upper struts, TRD oil cap
3. Get the Work wheels fixed up and new rubber
4. Buy and fit EBC - sold the old one
Spent 7 hours, washing, claying, polishing, sealing and waxing at the weekend, looks pretty shiney
Sorry no more pics yet but I will when I'm a little further down the line

Re: New '2 - advice needed on wheel colour!
OK, I need your opinions guys on wheel refurb colour. I keep changing my mind and have toyed with:
1. Keep them polished
2. Get the centres sand blasted
3. Paint centres matt black with polished bolts
4. Paint centres matt grey with polished bolts
5. Paint centres matt bronze with poliished bolts
What do you guys think? Any ideas welcome...
Existing wheels
Sandblasted centres
Black centres

IMO you don't want anything too dark or you lose the spokes which will be a shame.
