Instrument Cluster/speedo problem

Post by shanklylfc »

hi can anyone give me a little advice on the following
If I changed the instrument cluster with a second hand one, would the odometer clock reading be that of my car? or the car it was taken from.
Any Information on this would be much appreciated

The reading would be of the donar car. i think when you come to sell your car you have to disclose the original millage before you changed to the new clock and what the original milleage was on the new clock.

Your MOT certificates would show milleage if you had the MOT done on the old original clock.

Thanks
