.......The speedo died. everything else is fine and as it should be. Any ideas chaps?

Rev1? Snapped cable. Knackered gearbox drive.

Rev2+? Broken sensor on gearbox or broken wire.

Rev 1 is cable driven and (as KM already said) either the cable will be knackered or the mechanical sender at the gearbox end will have seized up or the cog on it will be knackered. Just had the same problem! I found it difficult to source a second hand sender but got one eventually. Think the whole bit from Toyota new is about 140 quid. Other revs are electronically driven apparently, so make sure if u go second hand you make sure whatever u get given is the same revision..

Also, is it a turbo or n/a? Because I made that mistake aswell, bought the wrong one that wasnt from a turbo model.
