[Mk2 Generic] Best speakers for doors and behind the head

Post by jonb- »

Ok,

I've just bought a mk2 N/A import with a Sony head unit driving an amp under the passenger side which drives 2 6x9's in the boxes behind the seats. The rest of the speakers are still wired up but are either blown or so old they sound shocking.

What do people recommend to go in the doors, and the awkward ones by your head under the rear quarters?

thanks[/u]

leave the 6*9's in, forget the 4 inchers in the doors and put fusion 6" components or speakers of a similar quality up front. an amp would also help if you are going for great sound quality. that will fill the MR2 cabin liud enough for most people! also, if you pick equipment carefully you can save weight for more speed! :D
