1995 Rev 3 MR2 GT-S V6

Post by EarL »

Time to sell up I'm afraind guys.

I have a problem with my lower back, and the fact that I'm not getting any younger...

Regretable sale of my 3 Litre V6 MR2.The car was professionally converted just under 18 months ago by Woodsport, at a cost of £3500. Startup date was 07-05-2008. The conversion was fully documented in the following link, and has been completely flawless since completion.

Build link: http://forums.twobrutal.com/showthread.php?t=12164

The engine has now covered 72k (55k at time of fitting) and is as reliable today as the day it first left the Toyota factory. The downpipes have been changed to a Paul Woods own freeflow design, which has realeased a further few bhp from the already healthy motor, and these lead into a full stainless Fujitsubo Legalis R, twin exit system (please note, the photos show the old system that was previously fitted). The sound of this system is superb. Quiet and restrained at low rpm, but howls when you open the taps. The motor is extremely torquey at low rpm and will quite comfortably pull away in third gear without hesitation.

The car sports lightweight Enkei RP-01 17 inch alloys, fitted with Toyo T1-R tyres. 225 front and 255 rear. All are virtually brand new.

Front suspension is Ohlins, and the rear is HKS. All fully adjustable for damping. The ride is firm without being overly hard, and the normal MR2 trait of front understeer has been all but elimiated, and the HKS suspension top mounts are also adjustable for camber. The front brakes have recently been reconditioned and fitted with new pads.

The interior has been changed from the normal GT-S cloth to full leather. Both driver and passenger seats are in excellent condition throughout.

Bodywork wise, the car is completely standard revision 3, and all bar a couple of very small stone chips to the front bumper, the paint work is excellent.

A brand new MOT and 6 months Tax have just been purchased.

Huge amout of documentation to go with the car showing every nut bolt and washer that's ever been fitted.

The car also has a remote alarm/immobiliser.

Thanks mate. Yes, the ride hight is just about perfect for road work. I daresay it would be pretty good for the track too!
