release date for COD6?

Original date for release on xbox was 11/10/09, this has now changed to November, but has been said that it could change again. Anyone have a concrete release date?

From what I heard, yes they did ditch it initially.
Then realised that some people might not know it's the next in the Call of Duty series - so it's probably got it somewhere in the title.

The current box art still has CoD on there, don't worry. My guess is Activision threw a hissy fit when they said they wanted it left off, and put their foot down.

Dont you mean Vegas 1 but with a run button, at a stretch you could call it Vegas 1.5

Run button made the game all the more complex, dont forget you have to steer aswell.

For me, shooting, running, steering, taking cover became like making a cup of tea or walking by the river with a loved one - natural.

CoD on the other hand, you can send your mate a text, watch picture in picture on your tv, eat some chicken and mash the "i win button" shooting everything in site all at the same time

everybody thinks cod is a run and gun game and takes no skill! thats really damn annoying. play cod 4 on hardcore search and destroy and see how much run and gun goes on, its one of the most tactile online games ive every played.
other then this i cant wait for operation flashpoint dragon rising! that will be the ultimate army sim

Might have to give this a go. Only ever play team deathmatch and headquarters online....

hardcore mode makes it 1 hit kill, u have no radar, no hud and no cross hair etc. makes it much harder and much more fun

Your missing the greatest part of the whole game online, its like having a jammy doughnut but only having the sugar off the outside and not getting through the jam in the middle - the best bit !
