my new MR2 Turbo came to me with many non-standard parts.
Most of them old, rubbish, poorly chosen, and leaking!I changed everything I could and had a full raft of new parts on it.
On test drive, it was exhibiting extremely scary, and specific handling deficiencies.
... through slow to medium corners, when applying the power mid-corner, the car would push tremendously wide, not sliding, just pushing and moving across the road - when coming off the throttle it'd tuck back in.10minute drive and the Rogue boys told me firstly my alignment was way off
(which to be fair we all knew already) but secondly that for some reason my diff was doing naughty things.I trusted them and got them to change out the diff for a Rev3 viscous item, and the results are remarkable!
A great diagnosis, if they had not been correct it would have been an extremely expensive wild-goose chace, but it is now fantastic.
