Yea John, spice it up a little, every couple of years I like to do things a little different. This will mean we won't have to get up at silly O'clock for ferry, can leave Rouen about 10am for a nice 2 hour drive down to chateau. Should have camp all set up by 2pm !!

Next year we will have 4 gazebo's so we can create a nice LM village, I've invited the MR2 club people of Germany, Wolfgang and co

Good to see names added already. Costs will be less for camping as we can get 5 people per pitch so the costs of 105 euros for the pitch will be split 5 ways instead of paying individually.

Would be good if the people who attended this year could post up a few comments about the trip and their experiences.

I has been discussed that a possible bolt on trip could include a trip to Paris on the train ( 1.5 hours ) with a 1 night stay in a hotel. Tuesday after the race, return Wednesday night, keeps the ladies happy.

Well all I can say is that the Le Mans Trips are FANTASTIC
This has to be one of the bestest trips EVER, that anyone could ever go on, but then again I am a little biased as I love the racing aswell as everything else \:D/ \:D/

Good work on the storing of stuff - did Domonique charge much?
Did anyone by any chance happen to see a saucepan with folding black handles during their packing up? I seem to have come away without it - I guess that will teach me get up late and miss most of the packing up...

Well 1st day back at work, hard going

Been doing some ground work already, Hotels in/near Rouen work out to be around £50 per room, so cheaper than White Rabbit :silent:
Not taking bookings yet but will keep an eye on, over the next few months

I'll try and do a little write up shortly. Name not added yet as I may potentially be heading there with some other mates and camping onsite - either that or trying the nurburgring 24hr instead... 8)

Bloody amazing trip this year, no rain, really hot, great race and great company. I went last year and am now pretty much addicted. Driving on the actual roads that the cars race on is fantastic. Mad Friday on the Mulsanne straight is brilliant, an amazing selection of supercars.
Arnarge on the Sunday was great, especially as Peugout won the race, the French were going crazy.
Not forgetting the race, 24 hours of racing, bloody brilliant! :thumleft:

Reema, welcome back, and as you said you are back, well ..........
On the return Ferry, Michael opened the map in search of an area for the Christmas Party, and sort of working it out geographically :-k Donnington seemed like a good spot :thumleft: fabulous museum and possibly good run area
So.... if you wish, pretty please, and you have the time do you want to look up Hotels in the area?, not a problem if you are unable, also very near East Midlands Airport

The idea of the LM Christmas party is once again to get all the regulars together and give the new people who will be attending 2010 a chance to come along and get to know everyone., as well as celebrate Christmas.

Donnington Park is so easy to get to and is right on the M1, if possible it would be great if there was a race meeting on the Sunday, I'll have a look. Please feel free to come up with suggestions, this is merely at this stage an idea.

Cheers
