HSD HR Monotube Coilover Group Buy

Post by toxo »

Been passed this URL by a friend on Driftworks. Driftworks can offer significant savings on HSD coilovers so this is a good chance to get hold of some of the best coilies you can buy for under £1k. They have full sets of SW20 units in stock and the group buy is open until the 30th of June.

If they muster enough numbers a full set will be £560 inc vat!!

My friend's got some on his MX5 but I've never driven it so I've no idea what the drive is like, but the ride is pretty good.

http://www.imoc.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=112732 is the only other mention of them on here really.

TBH you're better off asking the question on Driftworks, I don't think too many people on here have the experience to answer you.

Have already asked the question in the forum thread if the smoothies are available for the sw20 or what the spring ratios are on the normal ones if they aren't. Just waiting for an answer from a mod.

I'd have a set at £560, great price, but doesn't look like it's going to make it :(

did the same thing yesterday although I think you did a better job of it:thumleft: . I'm still undecided as to whether to join in with this as I'm considering selling my 2 to get something newer, bigger and more powerful, only problem is I do love my 2, have done a bit to it and am finding most cars I've looked at fairly dull and uninspiring. :-k :

For anyone wanting a bit more mr2-specific technical info on these there are some responses from HSD and DW to questions asked by mr2oc members here on pages 2 and 3:

http://www.mr2oc.co.uk/ForumsPro/viewto ... 20979.html

We'd better make it to 40, I joined on the blind hope we do  , £40 is quite a big difference in price! And makes them nearly £200 below retail :thumleft:
