[Mk2] [Turbo] Intro+Help Needed. Is this the correct timing for the crank gear?

Post by Jeezymister2 »

Hello all,

My name is Joey, I'm 19 Years old and I'm from the United States ( Mississippi ), and I have a 1993 GT Mr2.

It is in the process of being built as we speak. It had a stock 3sgte , and it started to have rod knock, so I'm completely rebuilt it.

Here are my modifications

3sgte block : Wiseco Pistons .20 over, Eagle Rods, High volume oil pump.
Head: Stock rebuilt/remachined head.
Turbo: Precision Sc-61 turbo w/ Turbonetics delgato wastegate.
Clutch: Clutch Masters Stage 3
Exhaust: Ems Powered 3'' Exhaust
Fuel: Stock fuel ( ran out of money )

Here is a picture of my car

Also, I have a 2000 Celica Gt-S

Now the Help I need is; I'm doing the timing belt, I'm sure I have the Cam timing correct

Intake Cam

Now; the only thing I'm unsure of is the crank timing.

Is that the correct timing for the crank gear; If it helps, Piston 1 and 4 seem all the way at the top of the stroke.

Thanks you all in advance!

Hello Joey welcome you will get answers faster via the Mechanical section. Moving you over. Have removed general chat and its going to be more technical from here on. Yes right hand drive over here.

Going by your rear lights and aero wing looks Rev 3 shape. You are going to need in tank 255 l fuel pump plus a fuel Regulator say Aeromotive will be good. If Rev 2 fuel rail it will not have enough capacity.
