i had a tonne o trouble, turned out to be a dodgy wire i was utilizing that was already in the car.
this is how:
the grey wire on the t/timer goes to the handbrake
1.extend it with a peice o wire to reach the handbrake (route it up through the ashtray area & under the centre armrest.

2. with the centre armrest removed, down the inside of the handbrake youll see a black plug with a red wire going into it.
pull off the plug and poke your extended grey wire into the metal connector alongside the existing oem red wire, tape up with electrical tape.

3.refit the plug onto the spur

4.job done

make sure it all works before you reassemble the console etc. :thumleft:

there was an existing extra wire already in my plug so i thought id be clever and utilise it, turned out it was dodgy, a fresh wire sorted it. 8) :)

cheers buddy, there is a cable already on the handbrake so ill try and use that, ill give it ago when i get time and see if it works

mine alarm works on the timer so i can still lock it while its running and arm it when its off

hopefully should just be a 5 minute job

i have mine fitted under the steering wheel

i have thought about modifying the clock to take the timer but is alot of messing about
