Spent the Day Playing with Toxos Carribean Blue paint

Post by Tiny »

Just thought i would share the photos of Toxos car after i spent all of Saturday giving it a Polish removing Swirl marks and some quite interesting scratches some of which were really hard to remove like where cardboard boxes had been stored on the bonnet.

But after about 6 hours with a Polisher and some quite hard compounds its was done.

Polished and swirl marks removed :thumleft:

Then we went for a quick blast into MK to pic up a V5 and i swear i have lost some hearing from his Buddyclub with no bung. Awesome noise just so LOUD!

I love the colour and it just suits this car so well i had to share. :thumleft:

:thumleft: Many thanks, the results are truly awesome - the photos just don't do it justice.

Although, the buddy club exhaust is not mine, it's on loan ;)

How much do you charge for doing this? Mine will need some serious amounts of TLC when I de-sticker it, and I seriously lack the patience for polishing.

The roof is unfortunately bu88ered. You can't see it in the pics but it's through to the base coat in a number of places. Tiny did an excellent job of concealing this however :)

The CC rad has been on there for at least 6 months and hasn't got as much as a bent fin...

not really just placed the camera on the engine cover looked through the rear window at the screen on the camera through the class and took the shot on a timer.

Taking it through glass and getting it right with no reflections is just too much like hard work and effort. :oldtongue:

no carribean blue is complete without a DSLR camera!

(guessing that is anyway?)

my point and click makes it look crap - as in my avatar!

looks really really well though :thumleft:

not a DSLR a standard 5MP 10x optical zoom Kodak Easyshare z740. Bought it for about £300 a couple of years back.

No worries just goes to show its not how many megapixels you have just how you use them and how good the electronic trickery in the box is :thumleft:

Definately agree. Some of the point and click cameras out there now can produce better pics than a DSLR if you don't know what you're doing with one.
