What body styling do you prefer?

Post by Turbo97 »

Right at the moment, i am at a bit of a crossroads between different styling styles at the moment!

So i am after some inspiration on where to go! I'm in two minds.

At the moment, its styled with a SARD front bumper, Border sides and a Veilside rear spoiler. If i am to stick with that styling, i'll be adding the Border rear spats.

But in my head i am extremely tempted to go down a more subtle route, with the original bumper back on with an aeroware lip, Toms sideskirts, Toms rear bumper with an Aeroware rear spoiler. Car sits on 17x8's front and 17x9 rear Rota Torque Drifts.

Soooo.....what styling do you guys prefer, more the lairy bigger jap style bodykits

Or the more subtle styling with tidy touches

Keep it as it is, just ditch the veilside spoiler n replace it with a rev3 or rev5 spoiler :thumleft:

id go for subtle (basically standard with a few nice touches -indis ,lights stuff like that .)i think toyota done a good job of the mk2 .but it depends on a lot :? what age are you ?nothing worse than seeing an older guy (and when i say older i mean about 25?)getting out/driving a kitted up car that would look ok if somebody else is driving it .lets face it ,its all about looks and nobody wants to come across as an old guy and people are thinking "look at that knob "or it must b his sons car"not "ooohhh thats nice " it all depends if you care about how you appear ,if u dont care ,get a veilside kit  i personally wouldnt b seen in one but hey ,each to their own

They suit both really, aslong as you stay away from veilside stuff and Im not keen on the whole TRD widebody stuff either. Depends on colour a lot too, dark colours can tone down a lairly kit making it look more acceptable and lighter colours complement subtlity

Anything JDM especially greddy, sard or border, try and re-capture the days of the mid 90's tokyo auto salons, pheonix power etc.

id give veilside a wide berth though. That style is too dated.

Bloody hell i forgot i asked this

emmm i'm 21, 22 in a couple months time! Well i'v been into euro styling since i started driving and subtelty, de-cluttering was always my way.

I do like the style of my car! but i am constantly being dragged towards a more subtle style! iv got some money coming my way after iv sold my corrado so i am thinking of giving the two a bit of a make over!

i know it is always about personal feelings, but i just anted to guage just what the majority thought :)

my previous two cars, both more euro style.
