Post by pez »

Hi all,

Which company provides the best servicing parts?

I want to change my:

Dizzy cap
Leads
Plugs
Oil change (including new oil filter)

Am i missing anything else for servicing?

Thanks :thumleft:

I've found that dealing with Toyota can be a far less stressful experience if I confirm the chassis number.

Good luck!

If you can wait a week get the ignition components from here
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... item=#LIST

Even with our crap exchange rates it will work out cheaper than just buying the leads from toyota here. Those are genuine toyota leads, dizzy cap and rotor arm for a rev3. Last year I got quoted about £100 for a set of rev2 leads from toyota, ended up getting the entire rev2 ignition kit for £60 from the same site. Ordered the rev3 bits for my new motor also, but they cost a bit more now.

Also i've found this site works wonders when trying to find part numbers

Is this link for a rev2? Says 93-95.

Looks like a deal if it is $100 plus post.

Cheers

Those are deffo rev2, you just gotta remember in the us only got rev1 and rev2 turbos. I bought that same kit from them last year and it's done no wrong on my current motor.

I bought this kit for my Rev3

Though the exchange rate was better when I ordered it, 1.9:1 or so.
