Evening all.
I've been thinking for a while of changing or replacing my seats. They look pretty good for the age but the first tears are there now and since the rest of the car looks so good I've been looking out for a pristine 2nd hand set to finish it off but missed out a few times (and anyway at the mo don't have the cash). Thoughts turned to a retrim (though more expensive). Tonight I've photoshopped up a retrim design if I were to wait and save a while..
It's in my garage if someone could post it up here for me please. Thx. Do you think it'll go with the car (pics of the car in my gallery also.. obviously) or is it too much? The thinking is the orange will go with the calipers and indicators. Probably also go with an orange gaitor and doorcard trim/stitching.
Opinions welcomed.

please dont do that to your seat
keep it nice and clean imo
id go for white leather and maybe a different colour stiching with door card ans gaitors to match
i know its nothing original but its clean and it works

It doesnt look bad your mock up. I bit risky though if you get it done and then hate it. Stay away from light colours though, I had my last car done in cream leather and it got ruined off everything, dye came out of my jeans on it, even just looking at it made it dirty and it doesnt just wipe clean, everytime it gets a little bit more dirty looking

I'd say the grey was better but the whole design of either would be better if you redid the whole inserts instead of making it seperate stripes

Hmm, test drove a few S2000s when Miche was choosing her new wheels (she got a mk3). Can't remember what the seats look like though. New subframe req'd presumably?

If you are going to two-tone route I would say get the whole of the centre panels done a different colour.
See pictures of mine below with perforated centre panels...not everyone's cup of tea but they suit my Zircon Blue car.
