LOL!
The old forum is .co.uk which redirects here (originally from a link on the old site), as this used to be the mk1 club forum. The actual website is www.mr2mk1club.com which it was for the old website but not the forum!

I assume no-one's noticed yet and that at some point it'll stop working.

I think Patrick at Rogue owns the .co.uk domain (and has done for a while) and usually has it pointing here, I'm guessing he'll point it at the new site whenever he gets around to it.

Seeing as he's a director on here, hopefully it'll still point here

Just a quick note to say that if anyone from Rogue (Patrick) or indeed IMOC wants to enter into a discussion with regards to the .co.uk domain then the Mk1 Club is ready to talk.

Nothing to do with IMOC, just Patrick :thumleft:

Ok - so Tim was mistaken and Patrick isnt part of IMOC "Management" ?

Just clarifying.

Try a whois on the domain.
It belongs to Patrick.
It has done for over 6 years.
Predating any involvement Patrick has had as an imoc director.

If mk1club want to buy the domain, why not ask the domain owner rather than bringing IMOC in to it? :?: :?

IMOC does not own the domain - IMOC couldn't sell it to the mk1club it even if it wanted to...

Why don't you just ring Patrick? No need to get cloak and dagger about it. He's unlikely to read this thread don't ya think?

I take it from the kryptic messages, that you've gone ahead and waded in there and pi$$ed Patrick off by assuming that he should just hand it over?

/and if you haven't contacted him yet, just think about things for a moment - Patrick has stopped someone else registering the .co.uk (which wasn't registered by the mk1club in the first place for some reason - just look at imoc.com to see what happens when you don't do that), and then had it pointing at the right place to advertise the mk1 club section (now moved on) for a lot of the time - so he's been giving you free advertising....
