Enjoying My V6 (video's)

Post by Howling_Mad »

A little about the car as i haven't posted over here about the new car.....

I bought a Rev3 Turbo rolling shell with LSD gearbox (engine blew up) and had a 3VZ-FE V6 dropped in it. Mods include:

Port and Polishing
Power Enterprises Air Filter
Fidanza Flywheel
Walboro 255 Fuel Pump
Japspeed Turbo exhaust (Very Loud!!)
SS Braided brake lines
Aftermarket Strut Bars
Gtech SS Engine shroud and twin spals
Rev4 clear corners
Raybrig's and 6K HID's
Full engine detail

Few issues still to sort like the camry T-pipe and i'm looking at investing in a Solaris S6 ECU to replace the horrid Auto ECU from the camry which is affecting my fuelling at the top end.

Dyno'd at Weston performance with 206.8bhp and 224 ft/lb torque - 180 ft/lb at 1600 revs :)

Took it out at the weekend for a quick blast - nothing stupid of course as it was a bit snowy still!! Mounted a remote mic on the engine vents so picks up a bit of engine noise and virtually no exhaust noise. Popping and banging is the flameage due to the ECU

And a flyby to get an idea of the sheer noise of the exhaust

Hope you like - I do everytime i get in it (until i have to return to the petrol station!!!) :thumleft:

I do love a good V6.

Loving the tunnel vid too.

There's a tunnel like that near me but it's on a dead road - no traffic. Went there last week late one night to set up my camera to record some runs, but they closed the road for 8 weeks for surface work.

Damn :(
