Magnex Exhaust

Post by Damian »

Hello everyone.

I bought a Magnex Exhaust from Fensport about this time last year and it seems to have developed a fault. I think one (or more) of the baffler plates has come loose.

Does anybody know the best plan of action when it comes to sending it back and how the lifetime guarantee works? My brother also seems to think that Magnex have gone bust. Is this right?

How will this effect the lifetime guarantee?

Cheers.

Phone Fensport and prey you dont get the miserable bloke! They should honour it if its within 12 months!
If you can't see the angle, you're in trouble.

this seems to be a recent problem. several people on here have had similar baffle problems. i must say i have used magnex for years trouble free so is the quality going down.
after you get the grumpy one get on to magnex. they should offer a replacement.

Reduction in quality could explain the rumours about Magnex going bust then?

Can anyone confirm this?

They still seem to be trading according to the ebay link below but it does looks like they may have stopped at some point by this quote from them "Magnex Exhausts are now back in business!"

I had one with the baffles going, had it replaced, new one is now getting the baffles going...

Is there any to cut it open, weld them up, then put it back together again?
