well he does say hybrid turbo and running @ 1.2bar, so maybe it is possible, though standard fuelling= not so good

lads this is a VERY good mate of mine.

teh car is a monstor for what it is i tell you not.

Trickster has also had the pleasure of been in it.

i do not and i think john does not kow 100% what has been done to this car before import, all i can say is it wasted my rev 3 running 1.2 on a ct26 TT stg 2 turbo.

he has spent many many hours on the car, the wheels are mint and its had a very good respray.

oh and another thing, the intercooler was discovered by mistake on the car so what else is on there who knows??

i did 350 miles from a tank on my rev 3 tubby with 1 or 2 boosts on the way to and back from JAE

yep that sounds VERY low for hitting the rev limiter in 5th.

does look like a nice car from the pics, and it sounds like he has dyno sheets for his quoted power output. stock injectors should see that sort of power ok i'd of thought too.

I know the lad who owns this car and its possibly the best example of an mr2 I have seen.

It is immaculate, really well looked after and it is a very very quick car surprisingly, I havent seen the graphs but i have raced him on numerous occasions.

I cant claim any of the figures are acurate but I wouldnt disbelieve them.

cant see why he would want to change the oil every few hundred miles i usually do mine ever 5km so about 3 k miles

I think your being unduly aggressive Simmo - he's not slated the blokes car at all that I can see.

He has simply pointed out that some of the statements in the ad are a bit dubious.

40 mpg particularly on a standard car let alone a highly modified one is not realistic.

Also the claim that the car will hit 170mph 'with ease' is probably getting a bit over excited as may be the sub 4 second 0 - 60mph.

I can't see that he has said anything derrogatory about the car.

i can, IMOC is full of people these days who dont know jack.

i read posts about burnouts - dumpvalves - stupid driving and just genrally stupid boy racer coments and statements.

when a member loves and cares for his car as well as john he gets slated.

why has he posted coments on a public forum basically saying he is speaking crap, although he didnt write that thats what he is doing. it really winds me up.

I want him to come on here and tell me how he is hitting the rev limiter in 5th in his GTS at 150mph that way i can slate him all night long on how he is speaking crap.

He also may want to give sme advise for thoes people who spend £1000`s on there cars performance and still fail to hit the rev limiter in 5th??
