Moonroof Blinds

Post by Jaspa »

I've seen black blinds that clip onto the Moonroof, are beige ones also available? Is so, any idea where they are available from?

Post in wanted will appear once confirmed that these are obtainable.

Hi Stuart,

Do you mean the sunshade that clips in place under the sunroof/moonroof?

If so, then yes, they are available. I think the Mk1bs came with a black headlining and sunshade, while the earlier cars came with a lighter coloured (beige) headlining.

Mine is a late Mk1a and did come with the sunshade, so you should be able to source a second-hand one. My guess is that some people removed them when they owned the cars, stored them indoors, then forgot to pass them on when they sold the car on!

Good luck in your search :thumleft:

That would fit mine, but sending it over to Belgium would probably be a bit expensive :s.

I thought my spare was beige but it's light grey too.

I'd swap my light grey one for a dark blue if anyone else is mis-matched!

Hello again Stuart

Hmm, am not sure whether mine is beige or light grey now... Will have to have a good look next time I go out  See from your wanted tread that your car is gold. Mine is a Sherwood, so the headlining could well be the same colour as yours - would go with the two-tone seats, which I assume yours has too?

Will let you know!
